Your kit, recipes, bakes and conversations are stored on your phone. You don't need an account to make dough.

Who we are

Lieva is run by TODO legal name or company, TODO contact address. We decide how your data is used. To reach us, email TODO contact email.

If you join the beta

We keep your email, your oven, how often you bake, when you agreed, and how you found us. We use these to send your TestFlight link and tell you about the beta.

We rely on your consent. Every email has a link that removes you straight away.

Using the app

What you make stays on your phone and isn't sent to us, unless you turn on Help teach Lieva.

Speech is turned into text by Apple. Where your phone supports it, that happens on the device. Otherwise Apple processes it under its own privacy policy.

Your location is only used to look up the local temperature through Open-Meteo, so Lieva can estimate how warm your kitchen is. It isn't stored or shared.

Calendar access is write-only. Lieva can add your bake steps, but it can't read your calendar.

Help teach Lieva

This is optional. If you turn it on, what you say to Lieva, how it understood you and its reply are sent to a private database, with your app build, your experience level and a random ID. Never your name, email, photos or location.

We use this to make Lieva understand people better, and we rely on your consent. You can turn it off, or delete what you've shared, in Settings.

The Table

If you join the Table, we keep what's needed to run it: a sign-in from Apple, your handle, name and photo, your bio and town if you add them, and what you post, like, comment, follow, block and report.

Posts, photos, comments and profiles are public. Apple can hide your email from us, and we don't ask for it. We need this data to provide the Table to you, and to keep it safe.

Messages to us

If you send us a message or report something, we keep it so we can deal with it. A message stays after your account goes, without your name attached.

Who helps us

• Supabase stores Table, beta and shared data, in London.
• Resend sends our beta emails.
• Cloudflare hosts this website, checks forms for bots, and counts visits without cookies.
• Apple provides sign-in, speech and TestFlight.
• Open-Meteo provides local temperatures.

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising. Some of these companies may handle data outside the UK. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK law requires.

Cookies

This website doesn't use tracking cookies, so there's nothing to accept.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, or object to how we use it. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email us and we'll reply within a month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

You need to be at least 13 to join the Table or the beta.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app.
